Below, you’ll find details on each airport, along with the best ways to get to Figueres by car or train. We hope this makes your travel plans easier and look forward to seeing you soon!

  • Distance: Approximately 45 km (28 miles)

    Drive Time: Around 35-40 minutes

    Details:

    • By Car: This is the closest airport to La Farinera Sant Lluís. You can rent a car at the airport. Take the AP-7 motorway heading north towards Figueres, then follow signs for the GI-623 road to reach La Farinera Sant Lluís.

    • By Train: From Girona city center (reachable by a short taxi or bus ride from the airport), take a train to Figueres-Vilafant station. From Figueres, you can take a taxi to La Farinera Sant Lluís, which is about 10 km (6 miles) away.

  • Distance: Approximately 150 km (93 miles)

    Drive Time: Around 1.5 to 2 hours

    Details:

    • By Car: Rent a car at the airport and take the AP-7 motorway north towards Girona and then towards Figueres. Exit onto the GI-623 road to reach La Farinera Sant Lluís.

    • By Train: From the airport, take the Aerobus or a taxi to Barcelona Sants train station. From Sants, take a high-speed train (AVE) to Figueres-Vilafant station. From Figueres, take a taxi to La Farinera Sant Lluís.

  • Distance: Approximately 100 km (62 miles)

    Drive Time: Around 1.5 hours

    Details:

    • By Car: Rent a car at the airport and drive south on the A9 motorway, which becomes the AP-7 once you cross the border into Spain. Follow the motorway to Figueres, then take the GI-623 road to reach La Farinera Sant Lluís.

    • By Train: From Perpignan city center (a short taxi ride from the airport), take a train to Figueres-Vilafant. From Figueres, a taxi can take you to La Farinera Sant Lluís.

Additional Tips for Guests:

  • Car Rental: Renting a car can be a great way to explore the beautiful Costa Brava region at your own pace. All three airports offer car rental services, so you can easily pick up a car upon arrival and enjoy the scenic drive to Figueres.

  • Taxis: Taxis are a convenient option for getting around, especially if you prefer not to drive. You’ll find taxis readily available at the train stations and airports, making it easy to reach your accommodation in Figueres. Please note, however, that taxis can be expensive, especially for longer distances, so it might be a good idea to check the fare in advance.

  • Trains: Traveling by train is a relaxing and comfortable way to see the area. The high-speed AVE train from Barcelona to Figueres is quick and offers beautiful views of the countryside, making it a popular choice for many travelers.

Hotel Duran, Sercotel Hotel President and Hotel Pirineos are just a short 2- 5-minute walk from each other, making it easy to connect with fellow guests. The wedding venue, La Farinera Sant Lluís, is only a 10-minute drive away (around 5km), so getting there is simple and hassle-free.
